WEEKLY UPDATE: I tried Taco Bell Sauce flavoured tortilla chips, cooked Caribbean, and more!

Hi.

I like Taco Bell. Sure, it's not real Mexican food. It's not supposed to be. The same way we know Pizza Hut or even Olive Garden isn't real Italian food. Taco bell is cheap and edible and, sometimes, that's exactly what I need (in these times, it's exactly what I need). Besides that, they are creative.

A couple weeks ago, I tried the Taco Bell sauce flavoured tortilla chips, both Mild and Fire, for a new video. A couple days ago, we finally released this video, but it was after the unfortunate news of the discontinuation of Taco Bell's beloved Spicy Potato Soft Taco. This item was my FAVOURITE. It was just a $1 and a great vegetarian alternative--and who doesn't love potatoes? It got me through university! With that being said, this new video is dedicated to Spicy Potato Soft Taco.

When I filmed this, I had no idea Taco Bell was going to SNATCH away my beloved Spicy Potato Soft Taco. RIP, my friend, this one is for you. You will always live in my heart...just no longer my tummy. #gonebutneverforgotten :( I hope enjoyed this video despite the sad circumstances. If you did, please, leave a comment and share this video! I will be releasing a video next week too so don't forget to subscribe so you're notified!

If you are interested in the products featured in this video, you can find Taco Bell Chips at this link: https://amzn.to/2PAGj26 (they are Kosher, Vegan, and made with gluten-free ingredients )!

I also cooked Caribbean food last night! This was kind of generic and not necessarily Bahamian. I made blackened snapper inspired by fish from one of my favourite local restaurants in Nassau. I served it with fried plantain (my favourite), cole slaw, and beans and rice (rather than Bahamian peas n' rice because I cannot find good pigeon peas).

Also, Instagram released their Tik-Tok alternative, "Reels" this week so I'm thinking about posting more cooking videos like this one above!

Here's the finished product:

Of course, I drank it with my favourite Caribbean cola, Fruit Champagne-- specifically, the Bahamian Goombay version.

Speaking of drinks, I discovered another place in town that has bubble tea/boba! It's been rainy a lot which then affects my mood. I was craving comfort food in the form of a drink, either a matcha latte or boba. I settled on 2-in-1!

The most excitement my life gets these days is cooking and discovering more boba options in the area!

That's it for now! Thank you for your continued support and I'll see you (hopefully) this weekend with another YouTube video!
